I painted this on location, in front of the Princeville Hotel, where I did weekly art shows by the pool. Original oil sold 16x20, a couple of years later I painted a companion piece that includes Bali Hai and Puff the magic Dragon. My printer put them both together for a 16x40 format; it looks amazing.
